corner view: travel

Corner View is a weekly appointment - each Wednesday - created by Jane (Spain) and curated by Francesca (Italy), where bloggers from all corners of the world share their view on a pre-arranged theme.  The theme this week  is "travel", and comes from Theresa.

No matter the distance you're traveling
there are many different ways to get you to your destination.
You can enjoy a leisurely ride provided by a trusty steed.
Pedal-power is the preferred mode of many, particularly on a beautiful weekend.
There's the smooth, quiet sail...
...an adventure on an old, big-masted beauty...
...or a modern cruiser.
For some, a vintage car is the only way to go...

...though there are some that will take to the skies.
Traveling by train is a romantic way to go...
...though these folks bring a new meaning to "traveling by rail".

But no matter how you travel, it's always nice to travel with a friend...
...or two!

Haha, that was a really good trip through the world of travelling! Those animal friends made me smile! So great to travel with your pet, at least if they like travelling, too...we often took our dogs along on our family holidays and they had so much fun, experiencing new surroundings!
Today I'm travelling via PC, so many corner view destinations to visit, that's a great way of travelling, too! :-)

lovely! I prefer walking or riding in a car for my mode of transportation. I do enjoy a boat ride as well but it's never to get anywhere, just to "be".

Delightful..

Except for #9... To the right of the pic, see the kid on his cell phone or something techy.. And he's "caught" looking up, as if he's been "caught." and he has... "caught" living in his techy-box, instead of in the Reality around him.

I recently saw traveling replicas of the Nina and the Pinta. To think of setting sail into the unknown in ships so small that they were dwarfed by a modest personal yacht in the harbor where we saw them. Explorers and adventurers indeed!

I love your take on the topic! And I wish I were out on sailboat in the warm right now. (Instead, I am sitting in my office eating lunch and wearing TWO sweaters because of the A/C.) Stay warm, I was talking with my mom today and she said that they are expecting more snow tonight... and I think you may be in the same weather track... I hope not for your sake!

Haha, :) your cat loves to drive with you in the car?

A dream of mine is to drive from the east coast to the west coast of the US in an old, pink and open cadillac.

Oh, these pictures are wonderful. I love the horse and carriage ride. I rode one about a year ago and enjoyed it so much. And the orange vintage car is a beauty. Thank you for sharing these pictures. Yes, there are so many different ways to get where we're going.
