corner view: renewal

Corner View is a weekly appointment - each Wednesday - created by Jane (Spain) and curated by Francesca (Italy), where bloggers from all corners of the world share their view on a pre-arranged theme.  The theme this week  is "renewal", and comes from Karyn (New Zealand).

Winter weary is how I would describe my state of mind today. The weather keeps flitting back and forth between wet, snowy, cold days and warmer sunny days. It feels like Mother Nature is teasing us.
But in recent weeks the bluebirds and some of the other seasonal songbirds have reappeared in force so that's a sure sign that Spring is indeed on it's way...
...and before long, that brown bushy bundle in the top photo will once again begin to gift me with these beautiful blooms. I can't wait! Come on Spring!

I think we are all tired of winter. It has been such a long and hard one this year! This southern girl is ready for warmer weather.

but, the hydrangias are still lovely. In their winter form and dusted with snow. :-)

Lovely photos, all....

For a week I thought spring had arrived, the temps were in the high 70's, the trees are budding and I started working in my herb bed, then the rain came and the temps dropped to the 40's, sigh.

march is my least favorite time of year: too much winter weather, when all we want is spring!

This series of 3 is precious!! I love the bluebird there right in the middle, makes March worth the wait!! Maybe we have to have this tough period to really appreciate the radiance of spring?!! March can be a trickster month here too, its like the coldest days of winter just when we`re ready for spring!! Thanks to your bluebirds song, I can feel hopeful too;))
